iPhone photos are the best to look back on and see what we’ve been up to these last few weeks. All I can say is, not too much because in the photo above we’re wandering around REI, trying on puffy coats for winter. In fact, the coat I’m wearing is a child’s size coat and it’s like half the price of an adult women’s coat! Petite women: this is a good trick for saving dollar bills on clothing. Anyways, I loved the mint green color of the jacket. And apparently, Dave and I were on the same page because we both grabbed green jackets. Totally not on the same page with our hand signals though :P
We’ve been going out on lots of sushi dates. There is the best Japanese grocery store in our town and they also have a sushi bar. It’s so authentic and reminds me of being in Tokyo all over again.
We live dangerously close to a dairy farm so we’ve been sneaking in every last bit of ice cream that we can. It’s disgusting and amazing all at the same time, I mean look at the size of that! We keep telling ourselves that this is the last trip to the dairy farm for the season but, we keep going back for more. Eventually we’ll switch over to donuts. (The cider mill is also dangerously close to our apartment!)
A couple of times we’ve been the first ones to open up the pub (this, I’m not too proud of). Dave takes me along to go watch the Premier League early in the morning and he entices me to go for the full Irish breakfast. That, I love!
I was so excited to take a HTML and CSS coding course this past month. It was awesome and I learned a lot. I now have SO much appreciation for web developers. Coding is like another language! Has anyone else ever tried it?
We went to watch the US Women’s National team play Haiti. It was awesome seeing the players up close, we were in row 4!
The sunsets in Michigan have been on point lately. I can’t get over them! The other night the sunset was this fire orange color with splashes of pink in it, so amazing. I just stopped and watched it in the parking lot of Target.
Dave had his first TV interview for soccer. His team is doing so well and I’m such a proud wife, I had to include this photo. Hehe!
