I have a thing for afternoon sweets. Once four o’clock rolls around, I’m craving a little cup of coffee with some kind of sweet pastry or cookie. One afternoon, I decided to make this cake of lemon goodness… including tiny poppy seeds, sour zest, and oh so delicious icing made out of lemon juice and powdered sugar.
