Our Mini Kitchen Tour

_DSC0869 copyOur rental kitchen isn’t anything exciting, but since it’s our first apartment together, I thought it would be fun to document. Dave and I often hang out in there, cook dinners together and chat about our days. It’s the little things like this that make me just love married life. As you can see, our counter tops aren’t quartz and our faucet is far from fancy, but what I love about our tiny kitchen space is that it’s so simple, white and very bright. It’s a cheery place, especially because it revolves around food, and food is always a good thing. I’ve learned that having an all white kitchen is hard, because seriously, every single spec of dirt shows up. However, I still wouldn’t trade in the white for any other color. I also have to be a honest and say that our kitchen rarely looks this clean. I took these photos right after doing some spring cleaning, so that’s why everything shines a little brighter.

P.S. – A few more snapshots of our apartment.

The benefits of white is that it allows you have any color of dishes, accessories, and appliances and it will always look good. I thought about painting my cupboards something other than white, but I just love the crisp look too much! :) Love your little kitchen cart, I’ve been thinking of investing in one to make a coffee station!

Aw thank you Wendy! It would be a perfect coffee station. We usually use ours as a juicing station. :)

It is so funny that no one of your food product in the kitchen cupboard exists in my country! I mean in the same brand-name.

Simple is always best – we have a HUGE island counter top with the sink in it and it’s just the BEST! It makes cooking enjoyable and I have so much counter space, it’s awesomeness. The kitchen is definitely my favorite place in the home, so much of ones life revolves around there you really grow to appreciate every nook. Have a great weekend Melissa! :) -Iva
