A couple of weeks ago we took a last minute trip up north to the Sleeping Bear Dunes in Michigan. Have you ever been? If not, you must go! It’s really a magical place and unlike anything I have ever seen before. We stayed in a little cottage on the lake and went hiking in the early morning. We ate in quaint town markets and walked along the shore. It was perfect. Our mini trip was only for 2 nights and 3 days, but it felt like a much longer escape… don’t you just love that? What was most special, was that we were the only ones in the national park that morning. We had the Dunes all to ourselves! And what do you get when you have a getaway for two with no one else around to take your pictures? a.lot.of.selfies. Hope you don’t mind, here’s our fun and beautiful weekend:
