How was your Thanksgiving Day? I hope it was fun and filled with lots of delicious food and loved ones. Ours was super nice. We slept in and cooked up a storm in our apartment. It was cozy and I spent the entire day in leggings. This was the first Thanksgiving dinner either of us have ever made, so it was very special doing it together. Dave was in charge of making all the traditional “English” food, like the potatoes, parsnips, brussel sprouts, while I was in charge of the soup and stuffing. We also had a little 8 pound turkey. To be honest, I was a little uneasy about how the turkey would turn out, because once we unwrapped it from the packaging, we both looked at each other like, “uhh… what do we do now?!” The turkey actually turned out to be sooo yummy. In the end, we were very proud of ourselves. After dinner we decided it was time to break out our Christmas decorations. We don’t have that many Christmas decorations yet but, we did buy a few ornaments for the tree while we were on our honeymoon this year. I was so excited to hang them up. Anyways, here are some pictures from our Thanksgiving day and also, be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the post for a little video of our feast.
